Doxxiom can automatically sync collected documents to your preferred cloud storage provider. Files land in your own Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or Box as you approve them — no manual downloads or transfers.

How it works

Connect your account
Go to Integrations and select Connect next to your provider. You'll be redirected to sign in with your cloud account and authorize Doxxiom.

Sync on approval
When you approve a document, Doxxiom copies it to your connected cloud storage. Documents you have not reviewed stay on Doxxiom, so a file you reject and have replaced never reaches your storage at all.

Rejecting takes it back
If you reject a document you had already approved, Doxxiom removes the copy it placed in your cloud storage. Withdrawing the approval withdraws the file.

Organized folder structure
Files are placed in a consistent structure: Client Name → Request Title → File. You can also set a custom base folder so everything stays under one location.

Enable, disable, or disconnect
Toggle sync on or off for any provider, change your target folder, or disconnect entirely — all from the Integrations page.
Files arrive under the name your naming pattern produced, not the name the client happened to give them.
Supported providers
Google Drive
Doxxiom creates subfolders in your Drive and uploads files using the Google Drive API. You can optionally specify a folder ID or URL to use as the base folder. Only the files Doxxiom uploads are accessible — it does not read or modify any existing files in your Drive.
Google Drive identifies folders by ID rather than by path, so Doxxiom can't detect your folder's name automatically. Enter a folder label so sync logs show a readable path. Getting the label wrong doesn't break syncing; it only makes the logs disagree with reality.
Microsoft OneDrive
Documents are synced to your personal OneDrive using the Microsoft Graph API. Doxxiom uploads files by path and OneDrive automatically creates any intermediate folders. Duplicate file names are handled with rename to avoid overwriting.
Dropbox
Doxxiom uploads files into an app-specific folder (Apps/Doxxiom) in your
Dropbox. Folder creation and duplicate handling are automatic. Files with
identical content are deduplicated by Dropbox; different files with the same name
are renamed.
Box
Doxxiom creates subfolders inside a base folder in your Box account and uploads documents there. You can specify a folder ID or URL as the base folder. Box's conflict detection handles duplicate folder and file names automatically.
Working in an organization
A connected drive belongs to the person who connected it, never to the organization — so Doxxiom does not copy every document into every colleague's storage. Two rules decide where a file lands:
- The owner's drives receive everything. They're the firm's system of record.
- A member's drive receives only the documents of clients they're assigned. Creating a request on a colleague's client does not pull that client's files into your own storage — they follow the assigned member.
Whether members may connect a drive at all is the owner's decision, set on the Organization page. Until they allow it, only the owner can connect one. Everyone can see which drives are connected and where they write, so nobody has to guess where a firm's documents are going.
Reassigning changes the destination
Assignment decides the drive, so moving a client to another member sends their future documents to that member's storage instead. Files already synced stay where they are.
Zero file residency
With at least one active integration or webhook, you can enable zero file residency. A file is then removed from Doxxiom's servers as soon as every channel you have configured is holding a copy — the webhook at upload, your cloud storage when you approve.
Because a document is filed when you approve it, it stays on Doxxiom until you review it. Zero file residency shortens how long a file is kept; it does not take it away before you have had a chance to look at it.
Vault files are never synced to cloud storage — a vault exists to share files without a third-party platform in the path — so zero file residency doesn't apply to them. They stay on Doxxiom until you delete them.
Before you enable it
Your cloud storage becomes the only copy. Doxxiom will have nothing to fall back on, so make sure the destination is somewhere you actually back up — and confirm sync is working first by checking the sync log below.
Rejecting an approved document
Rejecting removes the cloud copy along with the approval. With zero file residency on, the local copy is already gone — so the document exists nowhere afterwards, and your client will need to upload a replacement.
Checking that sync is working
The Integrations page shows Recent Sync Activity: every sync attempt with its provider, remote path, status and time. Failures are marked with an error status, so this is the first place to look when a file doesn't appear where you expect.
You can export the full log as CSV for your own records.
Security and privacy
Doxxiom uses OAuth 2.0 to connect to each provider — your cloud storage password is never shared with us. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Doxxiom requests only the minimum permissions needed to create folders and upload files. It does not read, scan, or index your existing files. You can revoke access at any time from the Integrations page or from the provider's own security settings.
Disconnecting
To disconnect a provider, go to Integrations and select Disconnect. This removes the stored tokens from Doxxiom. Files already synced to your cloud storage remain untouched. You can also revoke access directly from Google, Microsoft, Dropbox or Box in their respective account security settings.
Disconnecting while zero file residency is enabled leaves new uploads with nowhere to go. Turn zero file residency off first, or connect a replacement destination before disconnecting the old one.
